The tradition continues when Missoula Children’s Theatre returns for its annual visit in a Little Red Truck filled with sets, lights, costumes, props and make-up, everything it takes to put on a play. Everything, that is, except the cast. Two actor/ directors conduct a non-threatening open audition . Once cast, the show is rehearsed throughout the week with two public performances presented on Saturday. All MCT shows are original adaptations of classic children’s stories and fairytales . . . a twist on the classic stories that you know and love. The kids make friends, exercise creativity, learn social skills, goal achievement, communication skills and self-esteem. But as far as they know …. they are just having fun!
